Smoke rises up in distant places
All you have done will be paid with the tyrant's blood
Dead trees are falling into green rivers
Polluted with the sins you have committed
Everywhere I look sits the shadow of your miserable creation
With open eyes you went into madness
And we will make you pay one day
In ashes you shall sit and recreate
What you just burned away
The Devil himself would fear the hate you spread for your dreams
You shall exhaust in the deepest desert
And be reborn as the fly you have always been
You are the prototype of self-destruction
I'll cut your throat and let you bleed until you're rotten
You are the prototype of self-destruction
I'll cut your throat and let you bleed until you're rotten
Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson
